My English class just watched a documentary called "war photographer" it was about a world famous photographer named James Nachtwey and his journeys to war zones and lands full of poverty to take photographs that were so brilliant and moving it was almost unbelievable. He was able to get to know the family members of soldiers who died in the war, and the emotions of grief and hopelessness that he was able to capture on camera was astounding. Some of the photographs that he took were shown in the film and to be honest they were quite disturbing and gut wrenching, however they were so well photographed that it was difficult not to look at them, and to admire them. I think people like James Nachtwey are important because they show the world what the war is really like, and what the consequences truly are.
